Inspiring Connection Through Taste

Inspiring Connection Through Taste

Does your family have recipes that have been handed down through generations? Mine does.

Have you ever eaten something SO GOOD you literally didn't know what to do with yourself for a moment? I have.

I've traveled the world connecting with others over food—baking and cooking for myself, for others, and with others. I've shared recipes, learned new techniques, been entrusted with secret family recipes, and discovered traditions from different cultures. I've adapted and created recipes for people with food allergies so they can enjoy the things they want to enjoy but can't because of their reactions to certain foods. I've taught my two-year-old nephew how to separate an egg yolk by straining the white through his tiny fingers. Making something from scratch is like magic, and that magic is more meaningful when it's shared.

So let me share a little bit of my magic with you—right now, in the form of cookies. Cookies meant to be savored as well as shared, because I firmly believe in enjoying what you eat: food that tastes good, makes you feel good, and if you're lucky, becomes a talking point that connects you to something more.
